The time for yard sales has arrived. It's not just about ridding yourself of clutter in your home and making money but it's about clearing out unused items and allowing yourself freedom form the item(s) that have been burdening you and just sticking around your house collecting dust. 



Have items in your kitchen just plugged in using electricity but never actually being used? why keep these items? They take up space in your home as well as drain money from your wallet by just being plugged in. 

Spring cleaning isn't just for spring, cleaning out your stuff on a regular basis allows for a re-birthing of your home as well as a way to live more minimally and bring some extra cash in when you sell the unused items. 

Reevaluating the object sin your home (lamps, clothes, kitchenware, etc) is a helpful way to rid yourself of items that rain you emotionally as well as financially. Clearing out clutter from in front of your house will also increas your homes' "curb appeal" in the future. 

Walk through your home and ask some basic questions of the items in the room:

1.) Pick up the item (if physically possible)
2.) do you have more than 1 of this item? Is it necessary to have more than 1 of that item?
3.) Do you need/use the object? 
4.) When is the last time you used the item?
5.) Can you see your life/ that room without it?

Get rid of what you no longer want or need. A proper cleanse does wonders for the soul as well as selling the items does a great deal for you wallet.
